Case Report: Cannabidiol in the Management of Acute Opioid Withdrawal

We describe a case of a 27-year-old man with an 8-year history of severe OUD achieving successful transition to naltrexone-based abstinence maintenance therapy following cessation of methadone using an intervention of highly purified, high-dose CBD.
